FreedomPop: Calling & Texting App Reviews

Data works good for both Sprint and Three Network. Only problem with the app is that sometimes it wont let me pick up a call.

Early in beta there were a few problems but now all fixed. Calls go thru very quickly and voice quality as good or better than other cell services. Really great service at no cost!

Still having app startup issues.. Its constantly crashing!

My iPhone works well. Good sound quality and no problems sending texts. I also have a MiFi device for my iPad. No complaints about the service. This is a great deal that works well.

Love the app love the service, has greatly improved since Ive gotten it, only downside is the texting does take a little while to send and sometimes it takes a little while to open the text

Im honestly really disappointed that by this point FreedomPop still havent implement a feature to block further calls from certain numbers, and this needs to be asap. The quality of the calls and the app is great other the the missing needed features.

Other providers charge so much more the same service I have had no issues using this service love it

The calls are fairly okay, but nearly all of mine end in some sort of disconnection where I am unable to hear the person I am calling. Theres a lot of "breaking up" on the line. Also, Id really like it if the app could show display the message on the lock screen instead of "New message from mom". And, if youd really like to get fancy, modify it so I can reply to the message while still in the lock screen. That would be amazing.

It has trouble doing things quickly and doesnt connect to sprint service...

Keep up the work.you should make it where you can talk offline with the minutes you already have.other than that its great!!

The newest update to fix text not coming in at all, makes them disappear or only half the message sends/delivers. Just missed half of an important message from dr because it cut off....

Internet speed could be better. Good for the price. I did have to contact customer service to get it working properly. Im overall satisfied. I cant believe it works at all.

The app was working perfectly for at least 6 weeks before the last update on June 17 (which is very unusual). Now I dont receive any notifications from calls or texts and have to open the app to check for calls throughout the day. Ive missed several important calls because of this. I hope it gets fixed soon, because I really liked FreedomPop

Hide the app and hide your calls this is an awesome app for a free second line! The best would be if they can make your calls untraceable and unrecoverable but who knows what the future brings ;)

This app is great except I dont receive ANY notifications for texts or calls. My phone settings allow every kind of notification for this app, same with the in-app settings, but I still do not even know I got a text or call until hours after the fact, whenever I happen to open the app.

It is not cleaning recent calls

Placing the call works fine and the sound quality is excellent, but I am unable to receive calls unless the app is open and the phone is not in standby mode. Even the update that claims to correct that problem didnt help. When I can finally receive calls with the US callback number then Ill be happy to give five stars.

I tried at least 5 different email addresses and I was not able to register.

Still crashing with latest version iphone 6+
