Cant Send First Text Message

05/19/16 Update:
It looks like the developers read my review and fixed 2 of the bugs (texting first and contact list bugs) I described in my original review! I also see they were trying to fix the battery problem. Thank you for listening, FP developers!

However, the app is still a battery hog. I dropped an 8% charge just texting a few messages! Because of this, I give only 4 stars for this app!

04/28/16 Update:
The updated app still does not address any of the problems described in my original review below. So this "update" is a non-event for me.

To be more precise with the contact list, if you have at least 7 contacts, you cant scroll beyond it. Theres something wrong when the app lists the contacts.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
There are 3 major problems with the app:

1) Its a battery hog. Even in the background, the app will drain the battery.

2) You cant send the first text message in a text session! Something is wrong with the layout when you try to initiate a text session. The app wont let you send the first text!

However, if someone else sends you a text message FIRST, then the text session proceeds normally.

3) Theres a problem accessing the last item in a list, say, of contact names or phone numbers. You just cant select the last item on a list of more than 4-5 items!

These problems are really annoying. Please fix this.
